Is it bad when a buyer backs out and a home comes back on the market?
As a buyer if you see a home go from pending back to active status it does not necessarily mean that it is something bad or something wrong with the house. It’s still something you should pursue until you know what the issue was. A lot of times a buyer that has gotten into contract with a seller will back out of it for reasons completely unrelated to the house itself. The inspection contingency covers any of those reasons. So if a home comes back to active after being pending and there’s no significant price drop, you can pretty much assume that it might be something that’s not too big of an issue and you should move forward and find out what that issue is.
