The best way to figure out a list price for your home is to engage your real estate agent and have them complete a market analysis for you. They will look at recent sales in the area and compare the differences between your home and those sales to come up with a list price for your property. You want to make sure that they are comparing homes of similar size, similar year built, similar beds and baths and that are within a pretty close proximity to your home. Sometimes we have to go a little bit further outside of a close range to find accurate comparable sales but when we do that we make sure we make appropriate adjustments in price based on their location.
