Seattle listing websites still not updating – Northwest MLS upgrade still in progress

We reported a couple of days ago that the Northwest MLS is undergoing a major upgrade between May 4-6, 2010. The Northwest MLS provides all brokerages in Western Washington with listing information and is the source for all of the data that you see on sites like findwell, Redfin, Windermere, and John L. Scott.

New listings and changes to existing home listings are currently being entered into the NWMLS database by agents, but the data feed to external websites is still not functioning as of 4:10PM today. We are waiting for an ETA from the NWMLS technical staff on when the data feeds will be live again. This means that any new home listings and changes to status are not yet appearing on any external websites.

Our website will start taking listing changes immediately when the data feed goes live again. We are able to see new listings through our internal website. If you have an urgent need to see new listings in your neighborhood, give us a holler and we’ll search the database before the external websites start updating. We will provide an update on our blog when the NWMLS data feed is live again.
