Downtown Bellevue is about to get even bigger, with an $850M expansion planned for Lincoln Square. Bellevue’s rapid development was hampered during the real estate bust, but with renewed strength in the office market and hotel market, Kemper Development has applied for a permit to begin building.
The plans are for a mixed-use development including a 120-room hotel, a residential tower with 200 units, 545,000 sqare feet of office space and 392,000 square feet of retail. No indications on whether the resdiential tower will target apartments or condos. (Condo sales have struggled in downtown Bellevue, but things are starting to improve on that front.)
