Another GREAT experience with Findwell! Our agent Mike Schafer helped us again this time and he was truly amazing. We are moving out of the country so needed to sell the house we purchased (also with Mike’s help) just a year ago. Mike walked us through the whole process with his knowledge and gave us lots of good suggestions on pricing etc. We ended up getting an offer the first day our house came on market!

We just closed last weekend and we can’t thank Mike enough. We definitely recommend Mike to people out there who’re currently buying or selling – satisfaction guaranteed!

I had a great experience working with Nick. He is always on time, comes informed and never makes you hurry. He is patient and friendly even if its your sixth showing in the day. He was very good at negotiating a lower sale price for me. I am recommending him to all my friends. All in all he is absolutely great for a first time home buyer- with just the right amount of patience during shopping around, flexibility in schedule and playing hardball during negotiations.

    findwell agent: Kevin Lisota
Bought a single family home in 2011 for $470,000 in Kirkland, WA.

I don’t write many reviews- the ones I do write are for the best of the best. Findwell is worthy of this. I went to Yelp when looking for a real-estate company when my wife and I were in the market. I always thought the real estate agent’s job was simply a little bit of work for a lot of money, which made me feel cheated in some way. Findwell’s premise is that when you buy a house with them you get back 50% of their fees, and their agents are paid a salary rather than a commission. Genius idea. I met 3 of their agents when looking for our house but mostly worked with Kevin, and they all were exactly what I was hoping they would be. No pressure, no lame catch-phrases, they just show you the house and that’s it. Kevin’s knowledge of the different situations out there regarding buying options was incredible. Whether it was bank-owned, a short sale, or a regular sale he knew exactly what the best course of action was and advised us as such. We ended up getting a house that we still can’t believe we were able to get, and when all is said and done we received a check from Findwell for around $7000. You’d be incredibly foolish not to use Findwell for your next purchase. After all, you know your going to find the next house you buy by looking on the Internet anyway- you might as well use a company that gives you half of the fees back. Right?

Nick and his team provide me with outstanding service. He went above and beyond in helping me to find my house. He was always prompt, professional, and would give me his honest real estate advice in the homes I was looking at too. Nick would also accommodate my hectic schedule too which I appreciated greatly. At no point in the process did I feel pressured into making decisions. That’s a big relief and a lot less stress from all the other realtors I’ve met.

Michael Shaefer is fantastic. We are first time home buyers and knew very little about the purchasing process. Michael spent a great deal of time with us, running down home data, searching for possible homes, working with selling agents and finally our lender. Michael made a confusing and occasionally frustrating process mostly enjoyable.

Bought a single family home in 2011 for $340,000 in Redmond, WA.

Michael did a fantastic job helping us with our recent home purchase. During the search he was flexible about tour times, did valuable research on the properties we were looking at before we visited, and clearly had a ton of local knowledge, helping us to understand how the homes we were seeing compared against what was typically available in the neighborhood. When we did found the right home, he was invaluable first in helping us work through some of the extra complexities of buying in a short sale, and then in organizing all the inspections we needed to feel comfortable about our purchase. Throughout the escrow period and beyond he was both responsive and effective in chasing down all issues that came up.

We recently bought our first home, and Findwell was the perfect realtor for us. Our agent (Lauren) was always prompt, very available (we typically toured houses after I get off work at 6pm), and always took the time to answer our questions about the process (and we had a bunch). Lauren was also comfortable using technology – we communicated mostly over email, sent online links & photos about houses, and even signed all our papers online. This was a HUGE convenience! When Lauren wasn’t available, the Findwell team was always able to step in – we were never left out in the cold. We enjoyed our interactions will each of the Findwell agents, and ended up closing on a great place after several months of searching. Hard to believe we got all this service AND got a rebate that covered our closing costs!

Michael was very professional to work with. He helped us throught the process of buying our second home. He was very responsive and always available to answer any quesitons and provide much needed guidance. He made the entire house buying very smooth and pleasant. We would definitely recommend him and use him for any future real estate process.

Bought a single family home in 2011 for $528,000 in Kirkland, WA.

Mike is definitely excellent. We are first home buyer and he helped us go through this complex process very smoothly. He reminded us when we should be patient and when we need move; he always gave us accurate and professional answers, and always follow up afterwards if he needed go back and research; after we decided to put on an offer, he gave us a step-by-step plan on what will happen, what can possibly happen, and what we need to do to get a better deal. We are working couple, and Mike was willing to spend his beyond-8-hour time with us. One thing we can’t forget is, during the counter process, he communicated with us when he was celebrating his wife’s birthday. We strongly recommend Mike.

    findwell agent: Kevin Lisota
Bought a single family home in 2010 for $450,000 in Seattle, WA.

I have worked with too many agents in Seattle. Then I found Kevin Lisota with Findwell. Since Findwell agents are NOT ON COMMISSION, but are salaried employees they do not live from “sale to sale”. Remember that. If you use any “normal” real estate agent, they are highly motivated to push you into something, so they can get paid. Not Findwell agents. I found Findwell.com, and particularly Kevin Lisota, to be a refreshing source in an otherwise polluted industry. Since we were buying remotely, he would go preview homes for us, and forward comments and photos that eliminated the worst, and elevated the best. The only very minor complaint I had was, at the time, he was very busy. Most of the time he got back to me immediately, sometimes it would be late at night. I guess that’s when he would respond to everybody with emails since he’d be would be, presumably, showing properties to other clients during the day. He was very thorough with the paperwork on our offer, and he treated our purchase with the kind of respect a real estate sale should command. Almost every other agent I have used in previous transactions would rush the paperwork together making all kinds of mistakes. Do yourself a favor, use Findwell to buy or sell your next home. They are beyond the traditional full-service agency, and they rebated back 1/2 of their commission. How do you beat that? Addendum: Zillow said we paid about $525,000 for this home. We paid $450,000 and with total credits, including FindWell’s rebate, the cost was about $435,000.

Sold a single family home in 2011 for $485,000 in Seattle, WA.

Lauren Skow and FindWell did an absolutely amazing job in helping me sell my house. I had a very poor experience with a previous company. FindWell stepped in and did a great job in explaining the the current market, what I should expect, what I needed to do, and answered my questions and addressed my concerns throughout the entire process. Lauren was terrific and always went well beyond what I expected. She did a very thorough job of researching the appropriate price to sell my house for, helped me through the entire process (even calling around to get estimates when I had to make a repair after an inspection), and always being available when I had questions. Beyond that she is just a great person and it was a pleasure working with her. I cannot recommend FinWell enough and especially Lauren. Definitely ask for her!

Bought a single family home in 2011 for $422,000 in Seattle, WA.

Lauren was absolutely amazing in helping us buy our house in Seattle. She took us on despite we were moving from another state. She toured properties for us, kept us updated, and answered all questions we had. She was prompt, organized and so fun to tour with once we got to Seattle. Fortunately we found a great house and she got it closed! Coupled with the findwell rebate it was a perfect match. All our friends will get referred to Lauren at Findwell.

We just bought our first home with Lauren’s help and were extremely happy with the level of service and flexibility that Findwell provided. Lauren was always prompt and provided helpful responses to our MANY emails and questions. She was generous and flexible with her schedule, and the one time we wanted to look at houses and she wasn’t available, she lined up another Findwell agent who was available–a great benefit of working with a team. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would happily recommend Findwell and Lauren to anyone!

This also is the review I posted on Yelp. Check out findwell on Yelp. Last time I checked, they had 17 reviews everyone of them a well-deserved five star rating From my Yelp review: The only thing disappointing is that everyone already wrote what I was planning to say. This is a genuine, five-star local business. Shannon Ressler, findwell’s director of marketing and co-founder, was our agent. She listened, offered advice and direction but didn’t pressure us. Better still, she knows a ton and what she doesn’t know right off, she finds out quickly. Moreover, the rebate really made it inexpensive. The only drag about getting our house (we closed in early May) is that we’re not hanging out with Shannon anymore looking at homes. You can’t go wrong here. I would not hesitate to use findwell again.

We were extremely happy with Kevin – and we are tough to please!! We looked at really challenging properties for months, and Kevin was an excellent source of knowledge and sound judgment, with an excellent understanding of the details of the transaction. I’d happily use Findwell again, and would recommend them without any hesitation.
